OUR SURVEYS
RESIDENTIAL SURVEYS FOR HOME BUYERS & PROPERTY INVESTORS
Level 3 Home Survey
OUR MOST COMPREHENSIVE SURVEY
A Level 3 Home Survey (formerly called a Building Survey) will have the greatest level of depth, and is often most useful for run-down, larger or older property’s, a building that has been altered or extended
Our Building Surveys will provide the clarification needed on a property, with regards to existing defects and future risks, thus informing the urgency of any remedial works, but also helping to plan out future maintenance scheduling to ensure the property is safe and sound.
The inclusion of photographs in the report, specifically targeting identified defects, ensures precise information on the location and nature of these issues.
Level 2 Home Survey
IDEAL FOR NEWER HOMES
A Level 2 Homebuyer’s Survey, also known as a HomeBuyer Report, is a property inspection carried out by a qualified RICS surveyor. It is suitable for conventional homes in reasonable condition and provides a detailed visual assessment of the property’s overall state. The survey identifies any urgent or significant issues—such as damp, structural movement, or defects—using a simple ‘traffic light’ rating system to highlight areas of concern. While it doesn’t include invasive checks or access to hidden areas, it offers clear advice on necessary repairs and ongoing maintenance.
Our Level 2 Home Survey Reports may feature photographs in relevant sections of the report where defects are identified, ensuring precise documentation of defects and their locations.
